Raskin is making me cry

He's up there now adding a personal tidbit. January 6th was the day after he buried his son. His daughter was with him. His son in law was with him. They were there to provide comfort during an incredibly sad week. Republicans and Democrats had visited his office to give their condolences and support. He was working on a speech about Unity. Then, the Insurrection happened. He's going through what it was like to hear the sounds of the Insurrection, wearing the gas mask, being barricaded.

How can these people listen to one of their own colleagues talk about this and brush it off and not one hold Trump accountable? The lack of humanity is absolutely stunning and staggering. I know the answer. Trump hates the same people that they hate and that is all that matters to them.

"Dad, I don't want to come back to the capital." Raskin just cried over his daughters words.

Bless him and all of those who are trying to hold evil accountable.

Part of the grand RW plan was to make sure that those elected into GOP seats were thoroughly and absolutely loyal to the Right Wing conservative values and the orders of the GOP leadership.

This means they wanted zealots to the cause, not people with a philosophy leading to conservative values applied to governing America.

Why don’t they take the dumb fucks who vote for them and separate them from their money while the rest of us live in a democracy that cares about people. They clearly DO NOT believe all men are created equal. They are like 2 year olds who want what they want and that’s it.

I’m just over these people. We have allowed them to rip off enough money to end democracy. After they change all the voting laws in this country there will be states that throw out all votes from actual voters in favor of their lunatic legislators in their state. It’s already happening in 1 state and there will be more to follow. I don’t know about you but I don’t hold out hope that the clown court to strike down any unconstitutional thing they try.

First, the grief one feels from the suicide of a family member is unlike any other grief you can feel. I know that feeling, first hand. And to know that while he was dealing with that kind of heart rending pain when this was happening - I'm dissolved in pool of tears. I know I could never have handled it.

Sociopaths devastate all those around them.
In this case, the entire USA.

And our GOP leaders are mostly sociopaths as well.

No wonder other countries now feel sorry for us.

And the corrupt leaders have the money to suppress opposition votes.

We have been an oligarchy for some time now.

They let the Dems have power every 8 yrs to clean up the GOP messes.
So the people don't catch on to what is happening.

I may have to mute soon. He is such an apologist—we are losing our free speech, we are losing our rights, we need people like Trump able to speak their minds no matter what is being said. It’s just free speech to order an attack on our Capitol. Disgusting.
