(17,757 posts)The process is more important than the conviction. I do think that, at the appropriate time, Trump should go to a real trial, with a real judge and real jurors. He may not fare so well without his Republican Party life support system. I would love to see him tried before a typical D.C. Jury.
That is 180 degree turnaround from what I thought before the election. Before the election I felt that if he was removed from office, that it would be an unnecessary divisive action to try a former President. Boy, did that ship sail.
