Yes, its over... Trump will get a walk

But why are the pukes spineless and have no morals?

The pukes do not want to be primaried
The probably have death threats
They are afraid of being censured
They dont want to be singled out

They have no courage
They are spineless

They got the votes to move forward and the GOPers who want to vote against Trumpy now can let the evidence come out and square them with their voters

will support the country. These "close" votes now keep the crazies tamped down until the truth can be presented. Definite theatre. Other than the CT fools - those we need to replace.

Who gets more donations to their campaigns?

Someone who sits on the SASC ((Senate Armed Services Committee))?

Or someone on the Veteran's Affairs committee?

Everything needs to come out into the open, and then they can vote against it, and they can live with their votes.

They see it as a roadmap to future possibilities.

They value power at all costs over everything.

It’s terrible. But I am proud of how Raskin did today. Brilliant and touching.

Trump just rec'd the most votes for a sitting POTUS ever.

He still holds like 90% support in the GOP and has an energetic (crazy) base.

If the Republicans were smart (big if) they will just placate him and wait for him to get bored and find a new hobby.

Because if they do anything hostile to him, they're done.

Best case scenario for the GOP is for Trump to announce a PAC after the Impeachment Trial and run around the country doing rallies and such things, hammering DEMS daily and THEN in 2023... say he's NOT running using the excuse that he was already the best POTUS in history or some other pablum.

GOP is hoping for a perfect storm with several components:

1) Dissatisfaction with Biden/Harris First Term due to economy, int'l events, etc

2) More restrictive voting laws

3) Full support of the Trump base

4) And "Not-Trump" running in 2024. Someone like Noem or Haley... or some unknown outsider, Silicon Valley libertarian type or M McConaughey or someone like that?? M Cuban?

Those 4 storms hit simultaneous and we'll be right back where we were in 2017.

The majority of this country wants him convicted in the Senate. The final vote is going to be harder for them than these first ones.

Either way, history will long remember this era. They can choose how they are remembered in it.
