Doublespeak.
McConnell voted against a Senate trial. How does anyone with a conscious do that, if you really care about this Country.
This is not about re-election, this is about putting the Country before party and yourself. Our troops do it everyday, Congress(Republicans) should be doing the same.

Negatively branding trump may be in turtle's, and other 'cons, longer, or even intermediate term interests. An active trump this year, and perhaps next, even in some decline, could really split the republicon party.
