Everyone should refer to the events of January 6th as "The Trump Insurrection".
Hang this on EVERY apologist, defender and enabler.
Repeat it like the GOP says "Democrat Party" and "Death Tax" and "Death Panels".
When it annoys them, repeat it. When it angers them, say it again.

(4,458 posts)"Trump" must be the adjective of "insurrection". In comments, letters to the editor, radio call ins, letters to legislators, bar conversation, family gatherings, etc.
Not just an "insurrection of Trump supporters, but THE "Trump Insurrection".

(101,295 posts)For 45 years, anything egregiously wrong in politics has had the '-gate' appended to it, to say "we think this is really outrageous". But I think it's time to move on from that, and go to an even clearer example of "of course this is bad - it's what Trump would have done".
I don't know if just putting "Trump" in front of something works, though? I know he did it himself - "Trump University" was a fraud, "Trump Shuttle" was a failure, the Trump buildings are gaudy, overpriced shitholes - but when, say, a Republican governor tries to get a business deal in return for signing legislation, what do we say? "It's Trumpian"? "He Trumped the law" (doesn't work well, I think, because "trump" has an existing meaning as a verb) "That's a Trump move"?
I'd like something that can appear in headlines. Any ideas?
