(35,176 posts)You are so funny. I just came in a bit ago and just sat down to devour my lunch and this thread. We are stuck with horrible below freezing temperatures for the next week or more, like a lot of people but I have horses and goats to care for and it takes a good bit of time and I cannot put it off like I can during the summer. Rehearsal tonight so I must get it all read as quickly as I can but I had to stop because your mention made my whole body warm up, thanks. It is miserable outside but warm and informative in here.

(35,176 posts)Ahh, I love Montana. Stayed in Kalispell for a while and visited Glacier National Park and then hung around Flathead Lake then down to Lone Pine for some horseback riding, over to Livingstone for some boots and to Bozeman to catch a flight home. LOVED every second there. I have a very good friend who lives in West Yellowstone, I see your weather in photos all the time from their hikes and am happy we do not get the snow like you do but oh how lovely your state is.
It took me several years but I rarely get too cold. I heard that next week were are looking at wind chills as bad as -30+. Not looking forward to that but I got the gear. You take care up there in your beautiful state, one I lust after to see again.

(5,340 posts)Two Black officers told BuzzFeed News that their chief and other upper management left them totally unprepared and were nowhere to be found on the day.
Emmanuel Felton
BuzzFeed News Reporter
The first glimpse of the deadly tragedy that was about to unfold came at 9 a.m. on the morning of the insurrection for one Black veteran of the US Capitol Police. But it didnt come from his superiors instead the officer had to rely on a screenshot from Instagram sent to him by a friend.
I found out what they were planning when a friend of mine screenshot me an Instagram story from the Proud Boys saying, Were breaching the Capitol today, guys. I hope yall ready. The officer, who asked to remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation from his superiors, told BuzzFeed News that it was just a sign of the chaos that was to come, which saw officers regularly finding themselves unprepared and then outmanned and overpowered by the mob.

Nov. 15: He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!
Nov. 17: DEAD PEOPLE VOTED
Nov. 28: The Wisconsin recount is not about finding mistakes in the count, it is about finding people who have voted illegally, and that case will be brought after the recount is over, on Monday or Tuesday. We have found many illegal votes. Stay tuned!
Dec. 5: Between Governor @DougDucey of Arizona and Governor @BrianKempGA of Georgia, the Democrat Party could not be happier. They fight harder against us than do the Radical Left Dems. If they were with us, we would have already won both Arizona and Georgia...

(35,066 posts)At one point he said that trump "believed" the election had been stolen from him.
trump didn't believe that, per the many leaks coming out his chaotic White House. He knew he had lost.
He was lying the entire time for money and to save face.
