When Congressman Eric Swalwell began showing those terrifying videos, Fox decided to go back to their regular programming. After all, why confuse their viewers with a dreadful look at reality? (Like everyone else, I was glued to Swalwell's mind-boggling presentation. I googled Fox later.)
The Republican senators who were present however, couldn't switch to an alternate reality. Regarding those who sat there ignoring those videos and busying themselves with something else, one really has to question their basic humanity. But even most of those senators who watched will still probably vote to acquit a monster. Seems they will cling to power even in the face of unspeakable horrors. Sometimes, I really wonder if they are descended from the same species as the rest of us.

(9,423 posts)if they dont watch the videos or pay attention to the evidence they can justify acquittal because it just didnt seem that bad to them?? Truth is, I have an impossible time trying to think like a Deplorable.

I know it is difficult, but can a large enough issue be made by using up political capital to break through the firewall?
