of the film "The Wannsee Conference."

The German version with captions is better than the English version, though less well known.

Right wingers plotting mass murder, other right wingers sitting back and watching--perhaps taken aback by the ruthlessness and violence, but not caring enough about the victims to do anything but whine to each other in secret.

Maybe that's harsh, but it's a visceral reaction. How anyone could watch yesterday's presentation and act like they're bored is beyond me.

But I plan to now.

After listening to CSPAN this AM and the Republican callers who have been indoctrinated by RW media, I'm in disbelief. My hunch is they're avoiding the actual senate trial coverage and listening to what Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity tell them to think.

after his failed Beer Hall Putsch.

Except even the right wing court in that case found him guilty.

Today's Republicans are that much more gutless.
