Based off the old English saying "Get thee to Coventry", it was set in a somewhat Utopian society, where Coventry was a barricaded area in a "frontier" area where people who habitually defied social norms or didn't want to abide by the social contract went (voluntarily an option to life in a psychiatric care facility until they grew up).
Oh, they had all the resources they needed to survive, they just couldn't go back to civilization - and civilization just wrote them off once they passed the barrier, so not many people really knew what it was like in Coventry.
Sounds rather like Mr. "Alexander's" Mega MAGA City....

Let's just say, Coventry wasn't very nice once one found himself or herself inside. Nor did it seem that lifespans would be very long inside, no matter what social caste one would force or was forced into once they got there.
