(22,336 posts)It'll be because it sounds bad enough in the trial that they're afraid voters and donors will stop supporting them if they don't vote to convict. I don't think there is anything else that will sway them.

(13,582 posts)If the GQP votes lock step against impeachment - Biden will know to there is zero chance they will bargain in good faith on legislation. After that, it should be full speed ahead on passing bills by our slim majority.
