Trump Defense Team....Defending Trump's behavior as "Appropriate"?

I also doubt that the Trump Defense Team have enough rebuttals in them to fill 4 hours of their time, if that. Defending the indefensible by the Trump team will be a Herculean task indeed.

The House Managers have done an outstanding job in telling a story, years in the making to detail who Donald Trump is still, leading up to the insurrection on January 6th. The evidence shown in words and video, reminding us all what took place that day.

I know Trump will not be convicted. Republicans who vote NOT to convict tells this Nation that they are OKAY with everything Trump did and said leading up to the 6th as "APPROPRIATE behavior".

Their only defense is to insist that he did nothing wrong and it's not his fault. There's really nothing else they can use.

2. He *REALLY* wants to run in 2024.

He doesn’t want to be found guilty, sure, but he can’t blame the insurrection on the Republican AGs who called for people to come, the right wing media that stirred all this up, or his base that did the storming.

This is a very delicate balancing act here, I hope impeachment managers will cause a little chaos to that act in addition to making the case for conviction...
