Trump Was Sicker Than Acknowledged With Covid-19

WASHINGTON — President Donald J. Trump was sicker with Covid-19 in October than publicly acknowledged at the time, with extremely depressed blood oxygen levels at one point and a lung problem associated with pneumonia caused by the coronavirus, according to four people familiar with his condition.

His prognosis became so worrisome before he was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center that officials believed he would need to be put on a ventilator, two of the people familiar with his condition said.

The people familiar with Mr. Trump’s health said he was found to have lung infiltrates, which occur when the lungs are inflamed and contain substances such as fluid or bacteria. Their presence, especially when a patient is exhibiting other symptoms, can be a sign of an acute case of the disease. They can be easily spotted on an X-ray or scan, when parts of the lungs appear opaque, or white.

Mr. Trump’s blood oxygen level alone was cause for extreme concern, dipping into the 80s, according to the people familiar with his evaluation. The disease is considered severe when the blood oxygen level falls to the low 90s.

she was hiding things about her health.

She didn't publicly announce that she was sick with a virus, which traditionally candidates had not been expected to do. She did make all of her health records public, unlike Donald who blatantly lied about his health history. But one visual image of her falling down on 9/11 was all it took to send the misogynistic news media into overdrive.

That episode was a much bigger deal that the basket of deplorables, rewritten history notwithstanding. Obviously it cannot compare to James Comey's antics, but it made the negative talking points of Comey and Putin that much more damaging.

This seems like the proper end result. If you believe the nonsense that was spewed at her then you will ultimately wind up with a president who actually does hide a major health care crisis, like apparently Donald Trump has done.

His struggle with the disease would likely keep him from running for election in 2024. If he does run, he starts off with his usual and extremely irritating 40 to 43 % of the electorate.

appearance on the balcony on returning so quickly to his WH hospital-level care. It did surprise me that a man of his age seemingly recovered as quickly as he did. Very best care.

Our much-younger DIL's O2 sat was in the bottom 90s at one point, and she never went to the hospital, just rode out her 11-day misery at home without it.

up to it; didn't have to as a substitute, but her school district was in big trouble with thousands out ill. That was hard, but now she says she's mostly just waiting to get her appetite back. She didn't lose her senses of taste and smell but over 2 weeks out still has to force herself to eat. That's what I "know." She's not big on complaining.

Yes to the glad and her resilience.

Trump was able to push to get emergency approval, which is understandable being he was president. Having pushed Hydroxychloroquine for months, in the end his "miracle cure" was not used. "Hydroxychloroquine. Try it. What have you got to lose?" Such a dangerous man.

And to top it off the research was done on aborted fetal tissue. Such hypocrisy.

I loath this creature more than anything on this earth. I have always hated him since he first landed on the national scene. When he is dying of some future malady, I wish him a long and torturous demise.

were just inconvenient statistics, because their deaths might hurt him politically. Then on January 6th, we saw again how little he cared about the lives of others. They were a sacrifice that he was willing to make.
