Several GOP senators just met with Trumps defense attorneys, including Cruz and Graham. Lee also spotted going in. Graham refused to talk about it after. See you tomorrow, he told me. Schoen told us theres nothing inappropriate about meeting with jurors in impeachment trial
We were discussing their legal strategy and sharing our thoughts, Cruz said
I asked Trump lawyer David Schoen if it was appropriate to meet with senators who are jurors, and he said: I think thats the practice of impeachment. Theres nothing about this thing that has any semblance of due process whatsoever.

(6,457 posts)I love the way that Schoen covered his ass. I think this process should be clarified with some rule.
Graham, Cruz, Lee...
There isn't much to say, is there? There is no First Amendment free speech right to cause a riot, much less an Insurrection. Some people here have said that they expect a comparison to Antifa riots (which, we don't have all the info on as to culpability,) which is wholly inadequate as any kind of justification. So, what could they have discussed as a strategy?
Someone said they could stand there and go, "Lalalalala," as a defense. Yeah, they could. They could just rest their case at NOTHING.
So, we need to keep track of all these antiUnitedStates pro tRump Repub traitors. That's about all we can do. Then, on to the 2/3 vote to keep rid of tRump.
