Whether it is standing at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial or gawking at them filling a refrigerator truck full of covid victims, it is that needless suffering for political gain that takes my breath away.

Now, like Nixon, they want us to stand by and watch as the perpetrator of the slaughter and criminality walks away set free by the criminal enablers on the jury.

that claims that 40% of the USA COVID19 dead would be alive if the pandemic had been handled better and if our health care system was more universal. That is a startling number and should be a clarion call that we have a lot of critical work to do to make our country and health care delivery system better.

It divides people into groups, according to age and health.

1a was front line health care workers and nursing home residents.
In some states it was also people over 75 yrs of age.

In my state 1b is people over 65, and people with underlying conditions of any age.

Some states do it differently.

Don't be embarrassed about not knowing something.

29. The reason why President Biden activated the Defense Production Act
Thu Feb 11, 2021, 08:40 PM
Feb 2021

was to speed up vaccine manufacturing and delivery. Pfizer, in particular, has had issues manufacturing faster, because it chose early on to not accept government money during vaccine development, when it was first out with a vaccine, it had to manufacture on it’s own, which meant pulling money from other places. Trump made no effort to help Pfizer build up it’s manufacturing infrastructure, probably because Pfizer famously turned down his photo-op at the White House so that he could take all the credit with vaccine maker executives standing behind him on the stage.

President Biden’s team not only is working with the two approved American vaccine makers to increase their manufacturing, but it is working on the distribution logistics that Trump ignored, as well as getting more people trained across the country to administer shots into people’s arms. In addition, President Biden’s team, I believe I read about, is working with SARS-COV-2 approved vaccine maker to have other vaccine makers that don’t have a SARS-COV-2 vaccine, but have the manufacturing capability to make the SARS-COV-2 vaccine, produce the vaccine under contract.

A lot of really smart stuff is being done. It will take maybe a couple of months to begin to see the power of what is being done now take hold, but I believe that by May, we are going to be on solid ground, finally.

The appointment is tomorrow at CVS in Witchita Falls,TX which is northwest of Fort Worth, almost to the Oklahoma border. I live just outside of Houston. Seems ridiculous I know, but I’m signed up on many lists and haven’t heard from any one yet. Some places I couldn’t even get on the waiting list, even though I’m over 65.

Our journey there will take us right over the road where the 70
+ car pile up happened this morning in Fort Worth. Not ant good alternative routes available. But the roads shouldn’t be iced by then - if they are, we will cancel.

I just got frustrated that it didnt seem like we’d ever get an appointment. But now that I’ve made a very inconvenient one, I’m starting to see news that makes me wonder if I’m not jumping the gun a bit.

Sucks that our country's leader took the Corona Virus seriously, and Canadians all worked hard and cooperated for the most part, but Trudeau seems to be having trouble with our roll out and getting the vaccine in a timely manner.

And a lot of our own delay is that the damn Conservatives, in a mad rush to privatize everything they could while in power, shut down Canada's vaccine development industry, back decades ago. So we couldn't produce our own like England, and the US.

The vaccines are estimated to only be effective for a few months. How many of those with connections and esteem, who knew how to game the system and get vaccinations way before those truly most at risk from the virus, how many of them will be due booster shots in late spring? Will they be allowed to use some of this new vaccine on themselves for a second round before many Americans can even get their first of a two-stage inoculation?

Considering the things privilege does, it wouldn't surprise me.
