a Duer replied to an OP with, "I don't know how to respond to this, so here are two cats that are best buds!" with a kitty photo. I thought it was pretty funny anyway.

Take a step back from all of this and try viewing it through the lens of an historian, looking back at events. I think you may discern attempts to "stampede" public opinion.

Forget Wheaties. Have you tried frozen bananas? Like banana ice cream or ice cream with bananas, but more intense flavor. [img][/img]

I slice one or two up into .5" pieces, pop them in a freezer bag, and then have a slice whenever I want a quick snack. It lasts, it has a 'creamy' texture as it's defrosting, and the banana flavor is intensified (or so it seems to me!). This works great for grapes, too.

If you have time, you can even make amazing 'ice cream' from only frozen bananas: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-creamy-ice-cream-w-93414

I think I have a frozen foods problem. [img][/img]

I'll substitute honey, instead, but I know exactly what you mean about tasting a childhood favorite after many years without. Bliss.

I made it for a friend when we were in our 30's, and he looked at it and said-NO WAY-, then he nibbled and ate the whole thing.
He said he had been deprived all his life.
It really is good.

After the rush wears off, I stop trying to think and start doing. I do the things that have to be done, in the order of importance and while I'm doing that... Clarity often comes.
