Was trump trying to get rid of Pence?

Knowing he couldn't fire him , and Pence refused to not only interfere with the electoral count, but he wouldn't give trump a pardon if he stepped down? Was trump's call to tubbervlle to find out and relay to rioters where Pence was? Was this all preplanned and why he fired Esper ? I hope they get all the answers, and give the American people the whole truth of trumps involvement, and those republicans in Congress who were involved.

Not so sure the Secret Service guarding Pence would not have open fire on anyone trying to harm the VP. If they didn't, they might do the same for him. Not so sure that it would have ended the invasion if they faced gun fire.

8. My question

Now in hindsight we see that the evangelicals do not truly care for Pence. They sold him out for Trump. I'm wondering if Trump regrets not having a different running mate for the election?

What I have learned about the born agains (from my ex wife and her cult) is that they love to slam and smear other churches, not just other religions. So it is not surprising to me that they did not rally around Pence. If Trump thought he'd lose support by dumping him, I believe it was a miscalculation.

I'd like to share one thing about narcissists. The pinnacle for them is the ultimate sacrifice of someone. Meaning, if someone would kill themselves over them, or someone would murder (or some other heinous act) for them. Looking at it from this perspective, you are spot on.

suspended, including the line of succession of power. The entire concept was to stop democratic elections, esp. for President.

Eradicate Pence, Pelosi for starters.

Trump heavily promoted Ivanka, his daughter, for his running mate early in the game. I doubt he had changed his mind January 6. Then at a later date, when he grew tired or bored, Ivanka could then assume the mantle of power in his place, again, with a suspended Constitution.
