Love in the Time of Impeachment: Penzeys Spices

Gotta love these e-mails from Bill Penzeys. Always finds a tie-in. This week it is the spice called "Justice."

Disclaimer: I am a big fan, especially of the great spice called Northwoods and, of course, Sunny Paris.

Here is part of Bill's e-mail:

Right now a whole lot of Republicans are waking up to the realization of just how many lies they’ve consumed over these last four years and are now finding themselves with quite the hangover. President Obama made 17 well-documented false or misleading statements over eight years in office. President Trump over 30,000 in just four years. Even for Republicans that’s a staggering amount of dishonesty. Of course they didn’t just hear the lies, for most they believed them. Their road to recovery won’t be easy.

Please help them. Seems now that they’ve been voted out of power many have found it in their hearts to compromise, but are confused at finding no takers. The problem is, with all the issues we face and so much damage from these last four years to overcome, no one is looking for a compromise that leaves us halfway between a lie and the truth. Before the right can get back into the game, first they will have to come back to reality and those 30,000 false and misleading statements have left them a staggering distance from anything real. They can do this, but it will take time. Any support you can give them in this will ultimately help us all.

From the very start right through to this week it’s all been lies. The big stuff anyways. Yes, in 2016 his campaign coordinated with the Russian government to cheat the American people out of a fair election. And no, in spite of how the majority of Republican senators voted this past week, there is nothing unconstitutional about holding a vote on the impeachment of a government official after they’ve left office. And since we’re getting started: global warming is real, Black Lives Matter is not a terrorist group, and face masks save lives. Five down, 29,995+ to go. This will take time.
