is essentially meaningless. We may play by the rules, but they never will. All this reluctance to nuke the filibuster because "reasons".

The GOP will absolutely nuke it without a second thought when it stops serving their purpose.

the senators who aren't showing up are largely the ones who would vote to acquit under any circumstances.
