I lurk on twitter and it is ridiculous how many ‘Jesus follower’, ‘Christian’, ‘Follower of Christ’, etc...I see on people’s accounts who post the meanest and nastiest stuff.

They would be Jewish as was Jesus.

This made up religion called Christianity, doesn’t necessarily have the same rules as Jesus’ religion.

... those who say they are the best Christians seem to be the worst... at least, that's my understanding. Apparently, their copy of the NT has numerous passages on abortion and gay marriage!

If you are not familiar with the Red Letter Bible, all of the words of Jesus are in red letters.
I'm a Humanist and not a believer, but love to study religion. If you look at those words in Mark, John, Luke and Matthew, they do make sense and could be something to live by. If this were a Christian Country, the 10 Commandments would not be used, only the Beatitudes.

But, that's just me.
