The smoking gun, has anyone mentioned it?

On Jan 5 Trump told Pentagon officials they would need 10,000 troops for the Jan 6 event.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9178271/The-President-threw-bus-Trumps-intel-chief-blames-failing-call-Guard.html

If he didn't think there would be a riot, why would so many troops be needed?

I went to law school with Ted Bundy. He was tried for the Carol DaRonch kidnapping my senior year. Since we all knew him, we tended to disbelieve the charges.

I graduated and became a Public Defender and continued to follow his cases. One of my partners had defended him in the DaRonch case and thought him innocent.

When they picked him up in Florida they found a smoking gun in his car. The license plate from the van in which the body of his last victim, Kimberly Leach, was found. His fingerprint was on the license plate. That was the smoking gun for me.

Asking for 10,000 troops is what does it for me here.

The request for ten thousand troops, at a glance, might just seem like Generalissimo Corpulente's ongoing desire for a YUUUJ military parade in his (cough) "honor."

But everyone knows what a shrieking, pissing coward he is outside of his fantasies. Animals terrify him. Loud noises make him dive for cover, eyes bugging out of his skull. Genuinely peaceful protests caused him to put up barricades and hide in the bunker. During the incel-rection if he wasn't curled up on the floor, quaking and crying for mama, it's because he knew they were there to serve him.

His crimes were often very gutsy but not as reckless as the final killings. There are some who argue he was reckless in an extreme death penalty state wanting to get caught.

I don't even want to know what is inside either man's mind. They don't think like me so I'll never understand it.

...so he could overthrow the government & install himself as leader.

Note:

"the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States."

I'm banging my head against my desk trying to figure out why it seems like no one gets this.

Remember when Trump used troops to gas peaceful protesters (& members of the clergy) for a photo-op with a Bible?

That was just a crappy photo-op that meant nothing. Imagine what he might do if he could command troops that could overthrow an election & install him as leader for another 4 years?
