I thought I heard Trump's lawyer use the word, "Negro," but thought I must have misheard,

because I've been doing other things while the R's are talking.

And then a friend on FB just asked if she'd heard that word.

Did anyone else hear it? Do you remember what the context was?

...came along with “Black” (as in “Black is beautiful” and other phrases) it was considered shocking all around.

But then, I am old and have seen language evolve.

what he wanted to say...this insurrection/protection of white privilege/entitlement ameriKKKans has miffed me to no end. If hordes of brown people had done this pissed at the still racist treatment of POC in this "shining light on a hill" they would still be picking up pieces of flesh and washing the blood from the Capitol steps.
