I'm extremely upset that they now have enough signatures to recall Gov. Newsom

I can’t believe we’re going to be put through this shit again. The Right will stop at nothing to usurp the voters and seize this state.

Less then 2 million in a state with 40 million. The legislators can easily change the law. I think it’s a super majority too. Maybe do a percentage like 15 percent of the state population at least.

it may fail.

The reason it worked with Gray Davis was becsuse many people including a lot of Democrats thought it would be cool to have the terminator for governor.

that he thought it would be cool to have Ah-nold’s signature on his driver’s license.

Only the governor’s signature doesn’t appear on CA driver licenses. 🤯

https://ktla.com/news/california/recall-newsom-effort-has-ties-to-far-right-movements-including-qanon-and-virus-skeptics/

...But a Times investigation found that recall campaign leaders, seeking to capitalize on the darkening public mood, allied with radical and extreme elements early on to help collect signatures. Those included groups promoting distrust of government, science and medicine; peddlers of QAnon doomsday conspiracies; “patriots” readying for battle and one organization allied with the far-right extremist group, the Proud Boys.

The recall gave those fringe factions a higher profile and a shared villain.

She an Independent these days.

She and her puke husband have both been fully vaccinated as well.

She is 70 and he is 63.

Money talks and B.S. walks.

They are moving as they are distressed abt. the homeless problem and how it is affecting their million $ home. They don't like looking at the bodies on their way to the store.

These are the people doing this.

We will fight them to the bitter end however!

There's a video of Issa crying over it in public.

Like many repuke in-humanoids, Issa keeps reanimating and going forth to create more problems and cause more trouble.

...to indicate voter interest. Then, schedule a special election. Then, have a political campaign prior to the election. Yes, all this costs money. Yes, the GOP is throwing money at it.

Only after all that do we get to fill in our ballots and send them in.

It is an election, not some mystic ooga-booga thing with a predetermined outcome.

Yes, it is a pain in the ass. No, we don’t know how it will turn out. For one thing, I have not seen one single political ad yet. Not in the newspaper, not on tv.

An entire thread of agonized assumptions — and why?

Grennell, the guy who wants to unseat Newsom, is a “fierce” Trumpista, in a state that rejected Trump by 30 points in November.
