For the life of me I can't believe

the whole Senate chamber didn't break into laughter when the idiot tried the Calvary/ Calvery defence. It's like watching 5th graders in the principals office.

Cavalry : Horse mounted soldiers used on a war field to over run and over power the infantry (foot soldiers) on a battlefield.

Calvary : located just outside of the walls of Jerusalem where Jesus is thought to have been crucified.
