The info, if verified, is devastating "in the court of public opinion" with respect to their case, although we know their GOP lackeys would ignore it anyway.

(128,404 posts)and a vote on that was approved. The witness would be Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) who had been told by McCarthy about his phone conversation over the phone with 45 when he was trying to get the insurrectionists called off.

(6,473 posts)a Plaintiff's witness to force the witness to appear for his deposition in a case with jurisdiction in federal Court in Washington D.C. when the witnesses reside in Washington D.C.-- much less an Impeachment trial in Washington D.C.
If he did, the witness would simply object and seek to quash the subpoena and the Court would inevitably quash the subpoena and force the Defendant's counsel to either take the depoistion by ZOOM or travel to Washington DC to take the deposition where the witnesses reside
