This is not a legal case, it is political.

Their side was completely floored by the breaking news last night and apparently girding for whether it would come up today and it did.

The info, if verified, is devastating "in the court of public opinion" with respect to their case, although we know their GOP lackeys would ignore it anyway.

and a vote on that was approved. The witness would be Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) who had been told by McCarthy about his phone conversation over the phone with 45 when he was trying to get the insurrectionists called off.

GOP Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler confirms the McCarthy-Trump conversation, adds: "To the patriots who were standing next to the former president as these conversations were happening, or even to the former vice president: If you have something to add here, now would be the time."

a Plaintiff's witness to force the witness to appear for his deposition in a case with jurisdiction in federal Court in Washington D.C. when the witnesses reside in Washington D.C.-- much less an Impeachment trial in Washington D.C.

If he did, the witness would simply object and seek to quash the subpoena and the Court would inevitably quash the subpoena and force the Defendant's counsel to either take the depoistion by ZOOM or travel to Washington DC to take the deposition where the witnesses reside
