In my opinion, this development in the impeachment trial is fantastic.
We were looking at an acquittal today. No doubt in my mind. But this is an opportunity - a REAL opportunity - to get more information to the American people, and most importantly, to get as many Republicans as possible ON THE RECORD UNDER OATH.
We all know how differently Trumps lawyers talked in and out of court. Being under oath makes a difference for most people. I am thrilled at the prospect of doing that to as many Trump officials and Republican politicians as possible.
