doing the wrong thing out of cowardice (as the rest of their party has) means you’re not fit for public office. Being scared of repercussions is NO excuse given the gravity of the role you decided to take on.

We may not like their political philosophy of governance but these Republicans have proven they know who Trump was and is: A Destroyer. Unlike their colleagues, they voted their consciences and retain their basic dignity as United States Senators.

I'm sure it wasn't an easy vote with the tenor and tone of their own party members. In the end, they voted as Americans.
