It's what we expected, folks.

Facts didn't matter. We knew that. And with a 2/3 majority needed to convict, we knew it wouldn't happen.

All of the 43 Republicans who voted to acquit are now on record. Every state on the ballot in two years needs a Stacey Abrams leading the charge to elect Democrats. Until that happens, all we can expect is more of the same, until there is a 2/3 Democratic majority in the Senate.

It's not over, unless we allow that to happen. Let's not do that.

Peace and out.

I expected zero. Would have been slightly surprised to see one or two. Still would not have been impressed. I think seven is quite good.

but it still stings to know that Republicans can do whatever they fucking please with zero consequences.

Meanwhile, they're means-testing Covid stimulus to ensure that a bunch of middle class people feel well and truly screwed over so that they can "win" in the next midterms.

Not a whole lot of optimism here.
