I'm truly stunned that they don't even realize that convicting drumpf was for their party's own good....... now they have anointed him permanent leader of the party. a president that lost the election, lost the white house, lost the Senate, lost the house, and lost by 7 million plus votes.

this is how they plan on regaining control of washington? by following drumpf's lead? good luck

This was the largest bipartisan margin in an impeachment in history, and McConnell is clearly starting the process of cutting Trump off at the knees. He openly called for his prosecution.

Whether it works remains to be seen, but I don't see Trump as the future. His relevance was already waning to some degree and as more time passes and he (hopefully) faces prosecution in NY, GA, or elsewhere, it will continue to wane.
