He mentions the Capitol Police saving lives on the ballfield, in June of 2017, but no thanks to the Capitol Police who saved lives in the Capitol itself less than six weeks ago.

Is that because the ballfield shooter was a left-wing extremist? Because that shooter was after conservative congressmen? Or because he knew that he was not supposed to be a target on January 6?

Methinks the gentleman doth protest too much!
