With respect to the others, the official title of #PresidentsDay is Washington's Birthday. No need to get Madison. It's Truman. We Grant it's confusing, but you Arthur know. You can try to Lincoln them all to the theme, but the federal holiday only recognizes Washington by George

The tall, pointy, white stone tower of the Washington Monument stands on a grassy hill with a sunrise behind it.

This year was the first that state employees didn’t get a 4 day weekend a few weeks after the holidays. Still MLK Day but no Lee-Jackson Day but Juneteenth has been added.

celebrated with closed fed, state and financial institutions. Schools too, I think. I worked in a bank so I had a day off for each.

Meanwhile, Massachusetts also celebrated President's day which I guess must have honored the presidents from Massachusetts. Three paid days off in the shortest month of the year

I also got Columbus Day as well. I'd never heard of it being a day off. This was all before things got moved around to create long weekends.

Did you know there used to be a legal county holiday in Boston? Bunker Hill Day, June 17 in Suffolk County. Wiki says it ceased being a legal holiday in 2009 and is now just a celebration.
I lived and worked in Middlesex county I did not get a day off.
