GIVEN---that the majority of what still calls itself the "Republican" party believe that Trump

"really won" the last election, antifa stormed the Capitol on January 6th and the truckload of nonsensical lies spewed by Q-anon, could someone tell me why we Democrats should care that they will be butt-hurt if we kill the filibuster and move full speed ahead with President Biden's agenda?

We need to pass legislation to combat the pandemic, put millions back to work and sustain them until that happens, but we also need to pass the bill that will, in effect, standardize how federal elections are conducted, and eliminate voter suppression and gerrymandering. And, we need to do these things before the '22 elections.

The handful of non-cultists on the other side of the aisle should be invited to govern with us, but those still worshipping at the altar of Trump should simply be ignored. Their only clear purposes are to do whatever Himself orders and to attack, smear, defeat and destroy us.

We can either drive a stake through this monster's heart within the next few years or watch it recruit a larger ""Trump's Army" for the next assault on the U.S. government.

rammed through before she was even cold - just because the GOP could get away with it - anything Democrats do now to move their agenda forward is fair play.

It's not out of fear or deference to Republican feelings. We need to convince Manchin and Sinema that if we go big and deliver, including on voting rights, we're not likely to be in the minority anytime soon, so they need not worry about minority rule.

If we deliver same-old same-old, we could lose both chambers in two years.
