(3,339 posts)😭😭 The plumber is on the way out now to fix the pipe, not expecting to hear back from the insurance adjuster until tomorrow.
It was leaking out of the light fixture, so I'm worried about electrical damage. 😭 Will find out soon enough.

(2,816 posts)That deductible will hurt. The clean up wont be much fun either. Hoping tomorrow is a much better day.

Good luck, Shell-Seas. That is going to be quite a bit of work. I'm so sorry that you have that on your hands.

(7,575 posts)Otherwise, have electric power, thankfully. Plumber was supposed to already be here. Still waiting.
Still below freezing, in the teens. (central Texas)
Just now watched your water leak video - That's TERRiBLE - so sorry - have been there several times, with whole house flooded - not a fun experience - but a good story for your grandchildren.

(14,210 posts).... then shut off all the water. Then find the valve to shut off the section only that is leaking if it is divided like that. Turn on the non leak section of plumbing. Have the leak area pipes repaired.
