California Realtor Loses Job After Racist Video Harassing Asian Woman Goes Viral

A real estate agent from the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles was fired recently after a video of him hurling racist comments at an Asian woman surfaced online. What happened: On Wednesday, a social media user who goes by "Em" shared the video in a now-deleted tweet.

At around 5 p.m., Em claimed she walked down her street near Montana Avenue and Bundy Drive.

She felt threatened by a man accompanied by two large dogs.

According to Em, she, "stopped to look at [her] phone when this man came out of his home & verbally assaulted [her]." She noted that he did not wear a face mask.

The cops are a major problem, as much as some want to deny it, they are not apolitical and in fact lean heavily to the right.

Dalcin was charged with receiving stolen property, a felony, and grand theft, in 2002 and pleaded nolo contendere to the misdemeanor grand theft charge. It was later dismissed in 2006 when he completed all the terms of his sentence, according to Orange County court records.

In 2007, Dalcin was charged with felony criminal threats in Orange County. He was found not guilty by a jury a year later. Details of that case were not immediately available.

Dalcin was charged in 2007 in Orange County with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, drawing or exhibiting firearms, false imprisonment effect by violence, menace, fraud or deceit and possession of a firearm by a felon. He pleaded nolo contendere to the false imprisonment charge, a misdemeanor, and it was also later dismissed in 2016 when he completed the terms of his sentence.

In 2008, Dalcin was charged with public intoxication and disturbing the peace (fighting) in Orange County. The disturbing the peace charge was dismissed in 2016 after completing the terms of his sentence.

14. I used to work at an ad agency

specializing in real estate and I could not believe how awful a startling percentage of the agents were. Oh, they were sweet as pie to client's faces, but since I wasn't a client they didn't hold back on me or when clients weren't around. I mean AWFUL, racist, cruel, rude, demanding, you name it. They lied constantly too.

I remember one time an agent asked me to accompany her to a building that was being converted from rental apartments to condos so I could take measurements for the floorplan we were going to put in the brochure. First she lied and said everyone had already moved out. Then we walked into the unit and clearly someone was living there, so she told me we had permission to be in there. Then the resident came home and it was clear she didn't know we would be there.

The resident was very clearly in chemo or some other serious medical treatment, as she was in a head scarf and looked emaciated. Poor thing was too nice and too exhausted to protest much, but I was mortified. I apologized to her and the agent shot me a look and told me to finish what I was doing while the agent proceeded to mollify the woman, claiming the landlord must have lied to her (not likely).

As we were leaving, the woman asked if renters would be allowed to stay in the building for awhile because she was going through cancer treatment and didn't have the strength or money to move. The agent was like "oh of course, don't worry about a thing dear." Then as soon as the door closed, the agent looked at me, laughed and said "we'll have her out within the month!"

I was so disgusted with her I wanted to slap her right there.
