Maybe we need an "I got my vaccine" thread.

Like the "Thank you for the heart" thread from a couple weeks ago. Seems like several people a day post a report on their vaccines.

1. What About A Sticker Like We Get When We Vote.....

or a button we can pin on ourselves - that says: "I got my vaccine."

We should proudly wear it to show others we are protecting them and to encourage them to get vaccinated as well.

But I have been recommending those threads for weeks myself.

Of course, I've also been recommending all these threads about people who have lost electricity in these storms this week too. I suppose some could consider those "egocentric" as well.

It's probably a matter of perspective.

I don't think I've ever trashed a thread here, even those complaining about all the extra trouble spent having to scroll past threads that don't interest them personally.

4. I am glad that you and others on the site have gotten the vaccine. There are those

of us who don't fall in the eligible categories but are desperate to get a shot and cannot. It's not like Covid is going to say these people aren't eligible for the vaccine so I won't infect them.

9. Getting tired of those threads

Glad people are getting the vaccination shots but what is the point of making a thread about it?

Sometimes I can't help but feeling like "glad you got the vaccination, hope I don't die before I get mine."
