The rank hypocrisy of republicans and republican voters is galling. When New York State or California are dealing with a massive problem that is beyond the capacity of those states to deal with, then it is poor management. But when Texas has raging range fires, big floods from hurricanes, or is brought to it’s knees by cold weather, the very same people who said that New York and California should solve their problems without federal help, are the first to run to the federal government for help.

So much for making the federal government so small that it can be drowned in a bathtub. SAR-COV-2 and now a polar vortex proved the absolute lunacy of that goal.
