On Tuesday, Leo Brent Bozell IV, the son of a prominent right-wing media executive who runs the Media Research Center, was arrested for his role in the pro-Trump attack on the U.S. Capitol in January.

Bozell was identified by law enforcement thanks in part to the work of internet sleuths, who noticed that the figure in security footage was wearing a sweatshirt branded with Hershey's Christian Academy, the school where he formerly worked as a girl's basketball coach and where his children attended.

Commenters on social media found the arrest hilarious, with many laughing at Bozell's foolishness in wearing clothes that made his identity obvious, and others criticizing him with rhetoric borrowed from frequent right-wing criticisms of violent rioters.

The Bozell family tree can churn out miscreants and criminals for generations, and they retain the wealth they've accumulated in spite of it all. A Black family can see several generations of economic progress wiped out in the time it takes a racist cop to decide that Black man can't possibly own the fancy car he's driving.
