Should the feds take over vaccinations nationwide?

The states seem to have a very mixed bag. Eligible ages and categories vary. Some are vaccinating teachers, some are not. People with means are crossing state lines to jump the line and get injected.

What if the feds just took over the whole program? Maybe they could work with/through state and local officials. Essentially get politics out of it and just get people vaccinated.

No, the reason why no country will ... NOT ... localize an military attack response is because of these reasons alone.

The country needs a centralized response that eliminates these stupid points of failure from A - Z

Not mandatory of course, but maybe required as a condition for receiving any federal aid or tax refunds. The more people vaccinated the better for society as a whole

Consolidated policies? Yeah

Tracking and support? Yeah

National guard supplementing local people? Maybe focussed in rural areas that don’t have the mega-vaccination places? Yeah.

Taking over the vaccination sites the state health departments? A nation wide scheduling system? Those seem to me like boiling the ocean and might slow vaccinations down until the nation wide systems got up to speed if they ever do.
