...sad in that Bartcop didnt live to see it.
Bartcop was a liberal blogger who lived in Oklahoma. He started his blogging career by ripping apart Limbaugh on a site named Rush Limbaugh Lying Nazi Whore. Then he branched out into dealing with other Republicans on Bartcop.com. BC died of cancer during the Obama years and never enjoyed the thrill of ripping Trump apart.
I believe that if Limbaugh would have died before BC, Terry would have grave-danced so hard Tulsa would be five feet lower than it is now.
The only consolation is that Limbaugh lived long enough to see America throw Trump out on his ear.

(53,002 posts)...is that they are constructs in the mind of those we leave behind.
If after we die we are thought of well by the people who knew us, we are in heaven; conversely, if we are thought of poorly by our survivors we are in hell.
Limbaugh left enough of a trail of destruction behind him that theres no way hes in heaven.

(55,334 posts)I mean, never happy with someone dies. But Limbaugh deserve to see his life's work undone, if only a little bit, and exposed as a violent anti-American movement

(20,202 posts)we'd talk on the phone every once in awhile, but our main form of communication was online. This was pre-Facebook, twitter, everything like that. I'm sure he's eating this year's strain of sweet corn, and knocking back some tequila wherever he is. Cheers, buddy.

(14,614 posts)I enjoyed Bartcop for a while, and suddenly the name Democratic Underground came up in links. And it was just what I needed during the Iraq War, a place to vent and commiserate with like minded people.
side note: This reminds me about how Raw Story was also so very important then, and Bartcop would link to many of their stories. Which is why I seethe when I see Raw Story bashers in here. Such an important venue in those early days of the net. I'll give Raw Story a huge pass, because they've earned it.

(2,207 posts)I loved Bartcop! His site led me to DU. A number of years back a friend and I attended a Bartcop meeting in Washington at James Carville's restaurant. Folks came from all over the US to attend... God bless him. It was a wonderful time with Kindred Spirits. And yes he would have reveled and thrived in these times to help carry us through with his unrivaled wit. Here's to Bartcop and everything he did for the cause!
