I wanted to take the higher ground. I really did.

I wanted to go on to posts and say if you can't say anything good maybe you should not say anything at all, but then I thought fuck that, what has that miserable pissant ever done to deserve one iota of compassion in death. This is who that wanker was...

This fucker did more to radicalise the ill educated and those without critical thinking skills over the last couple of decades than anyone else in the media landscape. He enabled the seditious fucker that squatted in the WH and tried to destroy America to be elected, not because of conviction but for ratings, drugs and blow jobs (I made that bit up but I am sure it is true!). His rotting, sordid, hate filled heart will rest in piss (I stole that from Arkansas Grannies post! - such a great turn of phrase), and the world is a better place without him.

Rush right now but without the moves...

Criticizing someone who's just died can make things worse for those close to that person.

That being said, if someone had no redeeming qualities and caused great harm in life, I'm a lot less disposed to be respectful of those in mourning.

On the first day he asked where my radio was. I told him there might be one in one of the kid's rooms. I asked what he needed it for. I found one and went out to the front porch. He followed wanting to know why I went outside instead of plugging it in by the air conditioner inside. I replied "I don't allow hate in my house" and showed him where the outside plug was. He could not even forgo Rush on vacation.

I’m being serious here. Strong emotion, especially rage starts in the brain which floods the body with adrenalin. This creates an adrenalin rush and part of that is a flooding of the brain with blood. It’s more complicated than what I’m saying here, but some people actually do activity that creates that rush. Any activity that is inherently dangerous can cause it. It’s why some people are athletes in dangerous sports. Sky diving, bungee jumping, cage diving with sharks as well as watching horror movies. I’m no doctor but I think rage works this way too.

Some people have to have a fix. I think MAGATs are all pretty much addicted to rage. So is Trump and everyone close to him, like family, because he is who generates that rage.

When a recipe calls for adding some wine while you're cooking, I always note that it does NOT call for a vintage date! The '2 for $8' Chardonnay always seems to work just fine!

to the point where we doubted every thought, move, and action. Trump was the result.

Politically, society is divided between certitude and doubt. We have to make the other side doubt everything.

Gaslight them. Work on your technique. They need to open their minds, and I'm convinced this is part of the solution.
