A far-right UCLA student who live-streamed the Capitol siege, and reportedly bragged he wouldn't get

caught was slapped with federal charges for his role in the insurrection

Christian Secor, a UCLA student who espoused far-right and white supremacist views, was charged by federal authorities for his role in storming the Capitol on January 6.

According to court documents, tipsters shared information about Secor, telling the FBI that Secor had gotten rid of his phone, moved into his mother's basement, and bragged that he wouldn't get caught.

In total, 11 people helped identify Secor, 22, who live-streamed the breach of the Capitol and was pictured sitting at Pence's dais during the siege.

Federal authorities in DC charged Secor with assaulting, resisting, or impeding a police officer; violent entry and remaining on restricted grounds; civil disorder; and obstructing an official proceeding.

Plus, who the hell wants him anywhere near the campus after what happened at UCSB? The sirens went on and on and on and on. At first sort of below the level where I’d pay attention — we were less than a mile off the freeway, but Jesus I suddenly realized there were so many... I thought initially there must’ve been a helluva pileup down the freeway. And it turned out it was one of those goddamned incels — who has now been made into a hero by his online buddies.

No. I don’t think UCLA wants the little bastard.

Here Christian Secor's:

https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/case-multi-defendant/file/1367791/download

It includes a tipster's note that he calls himself a groyper (a species of white supremacist/fascist) and sometimes goes by "Scruffed Elliot Rodger" -- meaning that he's an incel who thinks women are for killing.

it's slightly easier, percentage-wise, if you're from the US, but out of state.

It was 12% overall last year, but was about 16% for out of state students from the US. I think in-state was probably closer to 10% and international students even lower than that.

"According to court documents, tipsters shared information about Secor, telling the FBI that Secor had gotten rid of his phone, moved into his mother's basement, and bragged that he wouldn't get caught..."

Here's my dramatized recreation of the event:

So he does something extremely foolish, he tries to clean his phone then sell it to a "buddy" who rats him out when the FBI tracks it down, is directed to his mom's basement where doofus is hiding out, playing "Call of Duty" and thinking how slick he is...until the doorbell rings and mom yells down the basement stairs, "Son there's someone here who wants to ask you some questions."

I am waiting for my Emmy.

If she's transmitting that information to law enforcement isn't known.... And I know my television is listening in, and the NSA is scanning every word I say.
