Their names are Dorothy Vaughn, Mary Jackson, and Katherine Johnson. They were pioneers as surely as anyone ever was. Decades ago they paved the way . . . . .

although the movie did take a few liberties with the book. I was a complete space geek child in the 60s and, if I had known about these women, it would have changed the my life.
