you know, he was probably out on his deck, chopping at the ice so he could melt it and use it for his toilet.
but then he though, I have some savings, fuck this, I'm taking time off. screw my job, I'll pull out some money, take the hit, and take the family south to someplace warmer until things get better.
oh wait, that was me chopping the ice for my girlfriend and myself for our toilet. I can't take take the "hit". or time off from work, because of covid, I'm the only earner.
