How many elderly, sick, or others that are trapped at home that may die of hypothermia?
My aunt is the only person in her family in TX with electricity, her 2 sisters and their husbands and kids are staying with her in a 2 bedroom apartment.
I hope none of them have Covid. Lots of people in small spaces.
That scene is being repeated how many times over? I'm sure the Covid #s and death rate will rise as a result of people seeking refuge with the few that have heat and electricity.

I know they have also opened warming centers. More people together.

This is just so awful. Republicans are just evil. Just evil. I have no words for their depravity. Their loyalty to business and not people is disgusting.
