Shoot, even Obama was faced with the way (some) men in his administration presented themselves. Women had to stick together in order to amplify their voices. He heard these women, though, and acknowledged the issue.

4. It's mostly a Republican hit job

1) the guidance from the Trump CDC at the time said to put the sick people in nursing homes. 25 other states did similar to NY and put the sick into nursing homes. These were red states, blue states, swing states, etc. Remember, while Donny knew it was dangerous, his public pronouncements were that it was a hoax & it would go away by April (of 2020) - so, covering up the deaths by throwing the sick into nursing homes is right in line with that.

2) New York reported those transferred as having died in hospitals and not nursing homes. So, the deaths were still counted - unlike what happened in some red states like Florida, Georgia & Arizona. Hopefully, a real counting can happen and be made public.

If there was a scandal, it was if Cuomo - or his staff - called people to threaten them about revealing the nursing home deaths.

6. At least Cuomo didn't order an armed police raid on a scientist's home after she blew the whistle

on his manipulated Covid data, like Florida's Governor DeSantis did. And Governor Cuomo hasn't been caught sending Florida's scarce Covid vaccine supply to wealthy zip codes in the state, while ignoring low income and minority communities, like Ron DeSantis has been doing. If the media wants to be "fair and balanced," they should give equal time to DeSantis' Covid scandals.

8. New York's Attorney General is

Letitia James. She is a liberal Democrat. She issued the report that was critical of Cuomo. So it is not a republican hit job.
