COVID and the vaccine sure are shining a light on some serious issues with our species

You have people that are happy to cheat the system and jump in front of those who need it more lying or using disguises to jump in line - this must be the narcissist flavor of COVidiot

On the flip side, you have people who are enamored with any anti vaxx bullshit they see on the intertubes and decide to turn themselves into mutation labs for the virus - this is the bat shit crazy flavor of COVidiot

You have a combination of the above - those who refuse to mask, refuse to socially distance - so are also virus mutation labs. These are the bat shit crazy narcissist COVidiots, a form of hybrid

Then you have those who refuse to take it because their evangelical church spreads the rumor that it has a chip in it, or is satan's spawn, or some sort of bullshit - these are the bat shit crazy holy roller COVidiots

Then we have the "we need to send the kids back to school so we can make money - no matter if we or they get sick" types, that put political pressure on Democratic politicians - are these the "we want to get schooled" COVidiots?

What am I missing? I don't know WHAT to call it when big blocks of health care workers or those in the armed services refuse the vaccine.

We can land a rover on Mars using science and great precision and creativity - but will we escape the flip side of our human nature - so clearly at the risk of having the shit continue to get kicked out of us with this and future pandemics until we finally do ourselves in.

1. As a whole, it's just nuts isn't it?

Thankfully, my immediate family isn't any of that crazy stuff, and I get to go out and enjoy nature any time I want which is emotionally nurturing to me.

I don't have to look far in my family tree to find crazies though, not far at all.

2. I think the crazy has always been there to some degree, but the pandemic is revving it to overdrive,

aided by all of the shit on social media and right wing tv and radio.

In my 65 years, this seems like a highly toxic time - we are having issues getting out of the way of our own ignorance, stupidity and gullibility.

It's which of my friends I'll probably never talk to again once this is over, and it's also shown me which of my neighbors are racist.
