4. I was supposed to get my first shot today, but ... well, weather.

Because of weather-related delivery issues they were unable to get their allotment of the Moderna vaccine and had to postpone my jab. Drat. Phooey. Stronger cuss words. They say they'll e-mail me when they can give me another appointment.

12. +1. I was all geared to get it Sunday and get it over with but weather delayed to the next Sunday.

Ah well. We are getting it done. I am hoping for the low fever no one knows they have unless they take a temperature, and tired. I don't really want the headache, but can deal. I hate nausea though. I have never had the flu so I think I have built it up a bit.

I’ve been feeling just a wee bit fatigued since my first. But with our weather being as cold and snowy as it’s been, I went for my 1st during a snowstorm, good thing the clinic was only about 8 blocks from my home! So I’m good with naps and hunkering down.

18. Wife and I getting our first shots

Sunday. Great to finally be getting the process going.

19. Unlike the rest of the country, we had mild temps last week.

It has just been very rainy. My yard is beginning to resemble a swamp. I will have to be pushing alligators aside to get to the car.
My Blueberries are starting to leaf out, the blooms won't be far behind.

We feel very fortunate to have gotten the shots this soon. Good luck to the rest of you!

21. Did you have any side effects after your first shot?

My son got his first shot on Wednesday. He is still feeling nauseous. I purchased some ginger snaps, ginger ale and 7up for him today. He said the ginger snaps seemed to help a little.

22. The only issue I had was a moderately sore arm for two days.

Round II, my arm is not even sore. I might not feel this way in the morning as I understand that the second dose makes some people feel poorly. I will gladly take a little discomfort for the security it buys. I will report back tomorrow.

Mildly sore arm for the first shot and nothing whatsoever for the second shot.

24. I got my second vaccine moderna injection on Feb. 13

I ran a 101.2 degree fever the next night but felt fine the second day after the shot

25. I got my 2nd Moderna shot 8 hours ago.

Arm is sore and feel kind of achy and tired. But still am so grateful to have received them. The whole process here in eastern WA was easy through Safeway. But I probably lucked out.

26. Next day effects, as promised.

I slept well last night and woke up this morning feeling fine, no problems. My wife, however, has been up since 2:00 AM (12 hours after the shot) with flu-like symptoms. Headache, body and joint pain, fever, chills. So, there you have it....

Now I have a choice whether to pander to her needs or pay her back for real or imagined sins while she is two weak to fight back. If you don't hear from me again, you will know I chose the second path.

27. Got our second moderna yesterday.

Got our second Moderna shot yesterday 2/19.

No side effects whatsoever that I noticed, not even a sore arm like the first shot. I was pleasantly surprised after reading all the posts about how the 2nd shot had more side effects than the first.

My wife had very minor side effects - a mild headach, a slightly sore back and a sore arm that lasted only a few hours.
