And the Castro brothers are Texans so the people hurting are their natural constituents.

(53,778 posts)and get water and food for days, not to mention the many deaths, will turn some voters away from the failed republican response to this storm, just as voters turned away from trump's failed response to covid.
Remember, Beto O'Rourke barely loss to Cruise in 2018 so it doesn't take massive numbers of voters to switch some races blue.

(14,726 posts)The so called "Christians" and oil rich GOPQ donors are still in charge. Unless we get someone/something who will make gerrymandering and voting restrictions go away nothing will change. I will check back in a year and hope I am wrong

I have donated twice to Alexandria Ocasio Cortezs Texas relief fund, now I will go and donate to the Castro brothers. Every dollar adds more fuel to the Democratic Texas engine.
