I saw him in NYC's tickertape parade after he flew again when he was older.

I wanted to go outside and see it. Odds are Glenn had already landed by then.
(We were in Japan and the flighthad probably occurred 12 hours previously)

It came with a reel of film about Glenn's historic flight. I still remember watching that.
