Reps. Sylvia Garcia, Sheila Jackson Lee & Al Green of Houston are doing incredible work w/ local relief organizations to get emergency relief to Texans.

Today we went to food distributions, water delivery sites, and home tours of impacted Texans.

25. My ex-bil was in SE Asia and walking through the market.

The foot traffic stopped, so he did the right thing - put his hand on his wallet and passport in case it was a pickpocketing stall. It seemed legit, so he stepped around the edge of the crowd to see what was going on.

In the road was a kid of about 8 or 9, obviously dead. Another boy, perhaps a brother was sitting on his back with his hand out. Can't miss a good opportunity. "My brother's dead, give me some money."

Yeah. Ivanka and the Vampires? Like that.

30. That is so sad! In the boy's situation, his opportunism was likely triggered by his life-or-death

survival instincts.

With Ivanka, not so much. Her Goya beans promotion just meant another million dollars or so on top of the tens of millions of dollars she had already made (most likely criminally) that year.

I thought he’d soon have some staged (as in, set-up by his frantic and scared staffers) photo-op where he’d be seen handing out food/water. To calm the masses because he got caught for what he DIDN’T do; for being WHO HE IS!

I saw it Friday.

Loading a pack of water bottles into the back of someone’s car.

Once that photo was taken, I’ll bet he was gone in less than an hour. To his home. Whew! Saving Texans for Jesus is hard work!

Without making a big deal about it, the message is: Democrats help people, all people, not just those they agree with politically.

I often talk about messaging, & messaging isn't just words, it's deeds too. Showing up, doing good, DEMONSTRATING that we care through our actions. THAT delivers a message loud & clear in a way that mere words can't.
