said on tv last night that Manchin is going after Neera because he is a sexist and a racist.

He's blocking a woman because he can. He needs to show his moderate bona fides some how, and he's a weasel. He's played golf with my dad, years ago, at my pop's course in Parkersburg. Manchin's a jackass in the pocket of big coal and the fracking folks.

or Bill Hargity. If Manchin is with us 75% of the time I'll take it as opposed to what I've got in TN. I'd love to turn TN blue but that is a long term project. Some folks don't realize the politics in red states.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
